Today I got a package delivered by the Post Office.
It was shipped the day after my UPS shipment.
I still have not gotten my UPS shipment.
I hate UPS.

I’ve ordered several things. They all have tracking information. But they don’t all update. I think that if UPS is going to provide tracking information then they ought to make sure it gets updated, they need to make sure the package is scanned at EVERY facility.
For instance, I have a consultant kit coming. As of 2:46am on December 2nd my package left the Salt Lake City, Utah facility. That’s where the tracking information stops. So either my package is just sitting on a truck somewhere, or it has gone thru several facilities without even being scanned.
This I also find irritating: my scheduled delivery date is December 8th. There is no reason it should take SEVEN days to get to NH from Utah. It’s only a 42 hour drive.
Then I have purchased a few Christmas gifts from Amazon.com. They list the delivery date as a five day span of time. I think I prefer that.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!! I did!!
Gillian decided to spend Thanksgiving with her father. Which was fine.
Matthew and Hannah went with me to Massachusetts and I got to spend my first holiday with my family since I was sixteen!!! I won’t say how many years ago that was, but it was way too many years, I will tell you that.
We left here Wednesday, came home Saturday. Both trips were fine. No traffic problems, no weather problems. Yay! I was so scared I would hit a horrible snow storm and go off the road and be stranded, but nothing like that happened.
I could have stayed until today (Sunday) but I am glad I didn’t. Missy tells me it’s been sleeting and snowing there most of the day and from what I can see out my window it’s starting to sleet here too. So I picked the two perfect days for travel. How lucky was that?

While I was in Massachusetts visiting family for Thanksgiving, my cousin and I were in her van talking about vehicles and vehicle troubles. She told me once upon time her power steering went in her car and she said it made her car so difficult to drive. So I got to thinking.
My van is due for an inspection this month (haha tomorrow I’ll be past inspection… oops) and if the inspectors happen to find a problem with my power steering rack I just might purchase one myself from Power Steering Pros, a website which allows you to purchase high quality parts for your vehicle.
It’s something to think about.

This is very exciting for me. Alot of people do things like Pampered Chef (I’m not much of a chef), Party Lite (I can’t remember the last time I actually lit a candle), Jafra (I’m not exactly the person to go to for skin problems). But I… I am going to be the go-to girl for all your scrapbooking needs.
That’s right! I’m signed up for and purchased my Consultant Kit, which I should receive in a few days and then there will be a scrapbooking, stamping, card making storm around town.
I’m just really excited about this. Plus I can take it with me, from a job standpoint, even if we move I can still scrapbook and sell scrapbooking supplies. So this will be good, and if not I will at least get tons of ideas and scrapbooking supplies for myself. Nothing to lose really!
